We believe that stories can change the world, and it is our aspiration to be a catalyst for change; to help spread a message of hope, need and revolution to audiences all over the world.

Documentary film can change our perception of space and time. It straddles fact and fiction, education and entertainment, aesthetics and documentation. These stories can persuade us to change our opinions and attitudes, or even inspire us to act.

In our cluttered media landscape, we feel that it is important to set ourselves apart by telling compelling stories with a social impact.

We recognize that people want to be entertained, moved and inspired. Through travel, music, and personal stories of struggle, this is the niche that we intend to fill.

At Back Porch Media, we produce powerful films that are relevant in today's social and political landscapes. We also produce films that are just plain fun.

I am currently on hiatus after graduating and working at a legal management consulting firm in Boston, MA.
